Latrinalia
Terms of Service & Privacy Policy — last updated October 9, 2026
A real-time collaborative 3D world canvas. Hate gets wiped from time to time.
Nothing about you is stored.
Terms of Service
Acceptance of these terms
Latrinalia ("the Service") is a real-time collaborative 3D world canvas: a shared space — a public bathroom and what lies around it — where anonymous visitors draw freely on the walls, in real time, like graffiti in a real restroom. By accessing the Service — through a web browser or as an embedded Discord Activity — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Age requirement (13+)
The Service is intended for people aged 13 or older. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 13, you must not access or use the Service.
User-generated content
Everything drawn on the walls is created by anonymous visitors, live, exactly like graffiti in a real public bathroom. Nothing is reviewed before it appears, so you may come across drawings or words you find offensive or inappropriate. Anyone can paint over or erase what they find, and the operators review the walls from time to time (see Moderation).
Prohibited conduct
While anonymity is respected, the following is strictly prohibited:
- Content that is illegal under applicable law, including any content that sexualizes minors
- Hate speech, and harassment of people or groups
- Sexually explicit content
- Credible threats of violence against real people
- Posting personal information about others (doxxing)
- Attempting to disrupt, overload, or attack the Service or its infrastructure
- Automated drawing, scraping, or spamming through bots or scripts
Moderation
The operators review the walls from time to time and remove hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit or illegal content, and personal information about others. They may also remove any other content, erase any room, or block access, at any time and without notice. Moderation is not continuous: something may stay up until it is found. Drawings are ephemeral by nature: anything on the walls may be painted over or erased by other visitors at any moment.
Your content
Anything you draw is contributed anonymously. By drawing, you grant the Service a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce, and delete your strokes as part of the shared walls. Since contributions are anonymous, they cannot be attributed to you or retrieved on your behalf afterwards.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. There is no guarantee of availability, data persistence, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of the Service shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including exposure to the user-generated content described above.
Discord Activity
When used as a Discord Activity, the Service runs inside Discord and is additionally subject to Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
Changes
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
Privacy Policy
The short version
Latrinalia is anonymous by design. There are no accounts, no logins, no profiles, no tracking, no analytics, and no ads. We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.
What we store
- Drawings: the strokes painted on the walls (coordinates, color, thickness) are stored so everyone sees the same wall. They are saved without any link to who drew them — no user IDs, no names, no IP addresses are attached to any stroke.
- Discord rooms: when the Service is opened as a Discord Activity, we store a mapping between the Discord server (guild) ID and its private room, along with the server's name. This identifies a place, never a person.
What we do not store
- No Discord user IDs, usernames, avatars, emails, or messages
- No OAuth tokens: the Discord access token is used only in-flight to verify that you belong to the server, and is never persisted
- No cookies for visitors, no localStorage identifiers, no fingerprinting
- No analytics or third-party trackers of any kind
Discord authentication
Inside Discord, the Activity uses Discord's OAuth flow with the identify and guilds scopes for one purpose only: confirming that you are a member of the server whose room you are entering. That check happens in memory during login and nothing about you is kept afterwards. Discord's own handling of your data is governed by the Discord Privacy Policy.
Technical logs
Like virtually every web server, the hosting infrastructure may transiently record standard connection data (such as IP addresses) in technical logs for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used to identify users, are not linked to drawings, and are not shared with anyone.
Data removal
Because drawings are anonymous, they cannot be attributed to a specific person, and therefore individual contributions cannot be looked up or selectively returned. Walls and rooms may be erased entirely at any time by the operators.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone at all — minors included.
Changes
This policy may be updated at any time; the "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
